Terms of Service

Last updated 3 November 2026

These terms govern your use of Turbulence, the assistant for work provided by Turbulence Labs ("Turbulence", "we", "us"). By signing in or using Turbulence, you agree to them. If you use Turbulence for your company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

1. The service

Turbulence connects to services you choose (such as Slack, Google, Notion and your note taker) to brief you, find and track to-dos, follow up with colleagues, prepare and run meeting agendas, and act for you when you approve it. Turbulence is in early access ("Labs"): features may change, and access is by invitation.

2. Your account

3. Acting on your behalf

Turbulence can send messages and emails, change calendar events and create Notion pages from your own accounts. It does so when you approve an action, or within the flows you turn on: for example, chasing to-dos, sharing a meeting agenda and reminding attendees. You're responsible for those messages as if you had sent them yourself. Use the settings to control what Turbulence may do, and turn flows off whenever you want.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Turbulence to:

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you and your connected services bring to Turbulence. You give us permission to process it only to provide and secure Turbulence for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to share it with Turbulence, including information about the people you work with.

6. AI output

Turbulence uses AI to read, summarise, prioritise and write. It can be wrong or incomplete: it might miss a to-do, misread a date or suggest the wrong reply. Check what matters before you rely on it, especially before approving anything that goes out. Turbulence isn't a source of legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.

7. Third-party services

The services you connect are provided by other companies under their own terms. We're not responsible for them, for their availability, or for changes they make that affect Turbulence.

8. Fees

Turbulence is free during early access unless we agree otherwise in writing. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you beforehand, and you can choose whether to continue.

9. Our rights

Turbulence, its software, design and brand belong to Turbulence Labs. These terms don't give you rights to them, other than to use Turbulence as described here. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

10. Suspension and ending

You can stop using Turbulence at any time: disconnect your integrations, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if continuing would put people or the service at risk. If we close Turbulence or your access ends for any other reason, we'll give you reasonable notice where we can.

11. No warranties

To the extent the law allows, Turbulence is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Turbulence Labs isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Turbulence is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 euros. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in Turbulence before they apply. If you keep using Turbulence after that, the new terms apply.

14. General

These terms, and the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Turbulence, unless you or your company has signed a separate agreement with us, which then prevails. If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right doesn't mean we give it up. Consumer protection laws that apply to you still apply.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms: write to us from Turbulence's Home tab in Slack.
